Guide

Can you book a private boat tour in Krabi for tomorrow?

Often, yes. Message us on WhatsApp by around 9 or 10pm the night before, say the trip is for tomorrow, and tell us which tour you'd like and whether you want a half or full day. A real person replies, usually within minutes of seeing your message, checks our boats and confirms your time, package and what's included. You pay a 50% deposit, and our driver collects you from your hotel at the agreed time. Same-day afternoon trips are sometimes possible too.

Most of our guests book weeks or months ahead, so a last-minute boat depends on what’s free. But when you know what you want and stay on your phone while we sort out the details, we can very often find you a slot.

How a last-minute booking works

  1. Message us on WhatsApp. Say clearly that it’s for tomorrow (or today), and tell us if it’s your last free day in Krabi.
  2. We check our boats and calendar. We come back to you with the best time and availability we have.
  3. We confirm everything in writing. Your pickup time, the package, what’s included and what to expect, so nothing is left vague just because it’s short notice. The person you’re chatting with is experienced with last-minute arrangements and can answer your questions there and then.
  4. You decide. If it suits you, we send you the next steps for the 50% deposit.
  5. You’re booked. Our driver meets you at your hotel reception at the agreed time and takes you to the pier.

What to send us so we can say yes quickly

The more you tell us in your first message, the faster we can confirm. Something like this works well:

Hi Krabi Bliss, we need a private longtail boat for tomorrow. It’s our last free day in Krabi. We’d like the 4 Islands, half day. We’re 2 adults and 1 child (age 6), staying at [hotel name] in Ao Nang.

Make sure your message covers:

  • The date: “tomorrow” or “today”, so we know it’s urgent.
  • The tour: Hong Island, the 4 Islands, or the Hong and 4 Islands Combo.
  • Half or full day, for Hong Island or the 4 Islands.
  • Who’s coming: the number of adults and children, with the children’s ages.
  • Your hotel, so we can plan your pickup.

Can you book for this afternoon?

Sometimes. If you message us early in the morning, there’s a chance we can have you on the water the same afternoon. By 10 or 11am we’re usually just confirming the final details and the deposit, so the earlier you write, the better your chances. It depends on how quickly we can confirm the details with you and whether a boat is free.

Ready to decide? That’s what makes last-minute work

When we free up a slot for a last-minute booking, it goes to whoever confirms first. If you’re still comparing options, we understand, but we can’t hold the boat for you. We have given a slot to a second guest who confirmed with a deposit while the first guest was still deciding. If you know you want a private luxury day on the water, tell us, stay on your phone, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Booking sites show sold out? Message us anyway

In high season our dates on booking sites fill up early. Plans change, though, and a changed or cancelled booking can free up a slot that the booking sites don’t show yet. We also don’t list all of our availability on booking sites, because we keep some slots for our partners and for guests who book with us directly. The only way to know for sure is to ask us directly on WhatsApp.

Confirming your last-minute booking

To confirm your boat, we ask for a 50% deposit. That’s what lets us lock in your slot and get our team moving on the arrangements for your day. You can pay it in one of three ways:

  • Online, through our secure payment page.
  • By Thai QR transfer, if you have a Thai bank account.
  • In cash, collected from your hotel reception by a member of our staff. This works if you’re staying around Ao Nang and a staff member is free to come to you.

The remaining 50% is paid in cash to the boat crew on the day. If you’d rather pay the balance by card, let us know and we’ll send you a secure payment link.

Which tour fits your last day

  • Only half a day free? The 4 Islands half day is the closest trip, about 20 minutes from the pier. See Hong Island or 4 Islands in Krabi: which should you choose? for how the two routes compare.
  • A whole day free? Take the Hong Island full day, or the Hong and 4 Islands Combo to see both. If you’re here between November and April, coming all the way to Krabi without seeing Hong Island would be a real waste.
  • Booking for this afternoon? By then, the 4 Islands half day may be the only option still possible. Ask us on WhatsApp for an accurate answer on the day.
  • Worried about the weather? For a last-minute booking we’ll already know what tomorrow’s sea looks like. If it isn’t a good day for a longtail boat, we’ll tell you before you book. Our normal weather refund terms still apply.

Pickup from your hotel

Pickup from hotels within Ao Nang is included. Further out, there is a transfer fee: ฿800 return for Klong Muang and Tubkaek, and ฿1,000 return for Krabi Town. Staying somewhere else? Tell us your hotel and we’ll confirm your pickup.

Flying in from Bangkok or Chiang Mai?

Many of our last-minute guests are passing through Krabi, flying in from Bangkok or Chiang Mai for a night or two, often on their way to Phuket or elsewhere. Exploring the islands on a traditional longtail boat is one of the highlights of coming to Krabi, so it’s worth fitting in even on a short stay. Book the boat for your full day in Krabi rather than your arrival or departure day, so you’re not racing a flight.

Why WhatsApp, not a booking form

When you need a boat tomorrow, a form that lands in someone’s inbox, or a phone number that nobody picks up, can cost you the day. When you send us a message on WhatsApp, it goes to a live person on our admin and management team, and messages are read until around 11pm.

Common questions

Can I book tonight for tomorrow? Yes, usually up to around 9 or 10pm, as long as you’re on your phone to confirm the details with us.

Can I book this morning for this afternoon? Sometimes. Message us as early as you can. It depends on whether a boat is free and how quickly we can confirm the details with you.

How much is the deposit? 50% of the tour price, paid online, by Thai QR transfer, or in cash to a member of our staff at your hotel reception around Ao Nang. The balance is paid in cash to the boat crew on the day, or by card through a secure link if you ask.

What if the weather is bad tomorrow? On short notice we’ll already know the forecast, and we’ll advise against going before you book if the sea isn’t right. If the marine authorities close the pier, we reschedule you or refund you in full.

Can I cancel a last-minute booking? Last-minute bookings follow our normal terms, including the weather refund.
